Daniela Sarbu, the Founder and Managing Director of the Waldo International School located in Jersey City, New Jersey joins Enterprise Radio. The Waldo International School is a private school from 12 months through 8th grade.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Daniela Sarbu discuss the following:
- Can you please share your background with our audience and why education is so important to you?
- In 2011, you opened the doors to the first Waldo International School building in New Jersey. Since then you have added a second building. What was your first decade like in business and what impact have you seen on the children that attend the school?
- In 2016, you opened your second building since you outgrew your first location. At that time, you also expanded your educational offerings to include upper elementary school through 8th grade, which is commonly known as middle school. Although you added one grade per school year, what has that journey through middle school been like and how is the education you offer different from other schools?
- Today, Waldo isn’t just a school, it’s a community. Can you discuss how you have made that happen and the important opportunities this has enabled students to experience?
- What can we expect to see from the Waldo team and its students in the future?
