How Chris Has Managed To Grow Multiple Personalized Gifts Business

Personalized gifts are all the rage these days, and sites like Groovy Groomsmen Gifts offer some phenomenal ones!  This is an online shop full of a wide variety of unique personalized gifts for men in wedding parties – Groomsmen, Best Men, Ring Bearers, etc.  Honestly, after giving it a full look, it’s really a site full of gifts for any man, as they seem to have everything covered.  The owner, a former professional baseball player, who mixes his highly analytical mind with a keen internet savvy to unearth the vision for Groovy Groomsmen Gifts, and a few other sites that he has brought to high levels of success.

Christopher Bajda, of Shelton, Connecticut, attended the University of Vermont on a full baseball scholarship.  After being one of the top high school pitchers in the state of Connecticut, Chris shuffled through many Division I offers and fell in love with Vermont. He’s an avid skier and lover of the outdoors, so Vermont was a perfect fit.

After four years of college, Chris earned a business degree and was off and running.  He moved on from baseball and started a life in Monroe, Connecticut, commuting daily to New York City in the financial industry.  After years of commuting, Chris realized this was not the life he envisioned for himself.  He married his highschool sweetheart and began having kids and settling down.  At this point, Chris was ready for a change.  He wanted to be a hands-on dad and successful businessman, and what better way to accomplish both than to work from home and start an online business.

Life in your mid-twenties means attending a lot of weddings.  After attending several weddings, and being involved in many wedding parties, Chris realized the gifts being handed out were underwhelming at best.  This sparked his interest in wedding gifts, and a constant thirst to come up with better items and ideas to give to the most important people in weddings.  He knew he could help men and women gift better, and after 18 years in the industry, he has certainly proven that!

Chris began his career in the wedding industry in 2003, when he started WeddingReports.com, and has been working in the world of the web ever since. Chris has attended countless weddings and wedding shows, taken over 50,000 customer orders and support calls on GroovyGroomsmenGifts.com, and worked with over 75 different companies that make wedding gifts to get ideas for his business. While starting and running WeddingReports.com, Chris had the opportunity to attend many wedding trade shows where he built strong relationships with wedding planners, photographers, venue owners, and all other businesses that service the wedding industry.  Through all of this, his entrepreneurship skills have been strengthened and Chris was ready to broaden his brand.  Graduate business classes at Sacred Heart University taught him the ways of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and from there the Groovy brand was off and running!  He was now doing what he loved, being a dad and running his own business.
